Bruce's Bio

Bruce Godfrey, PhD, is a social psychologist and a former Williams College professor, with over thirty years of experience in all segments of the market research business including: client-side, advertising agency, and supplier.

In his business career, Bruce led the Market Research function for four major client-side companies: the pharmaceutical maker Bayer Ag (Alka Seltzer, One-A-Day); General Electric Lighting;  Polaroid; and Keurig.

Additionally, Bruce was the head of Market Research at Hill Holiday, a Boston agency that is part of IPG. Bruce led qualitative and quantitative research efforts at key client companies, including: CVS, Enterasys, AMD, Microsoft, Great Plains, Partners Healthcare, Harvard Vanguard, Boston College, Humana and Verizon Wireless.

Bruce gained his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Kentucky and his PhD in psychology from The University of Connecticut.

Vicki Godfrey

Vicki's Bio

Vicki manages the qualitative practice for Godfrey Research and Marketing. She has over twenty-five years of marketing experience in the areas of branding, advertising and new product development.

Prior to joining Godfrey Research, Vicki was the CMO of Zipcar, the leading global car sharing business. Prior to that, Vicki led global branding for Monster.com, and she developed and managed the teen business for Polaroid, globally launching the Izone camera, the number one selling camera in the world.

In addition, Vicki led Marketing and Product Development for a start up company that launched the first Photobook in the US and Japan. Vicki has also held senior marketing and new product leadership positions with Fidelity Investments, Polaroid Corporation and GTE (Verizon) Corporation.

Vicki gained her International MBA from Thunderbird (The American Graduate School of International Management) and a BA, with distinction, cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from The University of Vermont.

Vicki has taught Marketing at the Gordon Institute at Tufts University since 2001 and is on the Board of Trustees of Lincoln College of New England.
